1981 Toyota Sunrader Motorhome: Classic Beauty
This 1981 Toyota Sunrader motorhome I found on KSL Classifieds looks like a great deal. (Update 04-19-13: Sorry, already sold!)
Their ad reads:
1981 Toyota sunrader motorhome body fiber glass ,good shape 78,200 miles, interior in good conditions, good tires, four cylinder manual transmition, great gas miles.
I love the fiberglass body on this motorhome. For some reason I feel that it would be less likely to leak than the other kind.
I haven’t driven a manual transmission in so long, so seeing that stick shift made me feel nostalgic. Of course, all that upholstery on the wall of the truck reminds me of my childhood as well.
The U-Shaped dinette looks a little cramped but serviceable. It doesn’t look like there is a bunk above the dinette, but if you have more than four people to sleep, you could probably build one up there.
It’s so perfectly compact that they even built in a tiny wet bath.
The queen-sized bunk over the cab looks comfortable.
For only $3300, this motorhome looks like a great deal, of course, there is always an engine to deal with on a motorhome, so if that is shot, then it doesn’t matter how well-kept the interior is.
I love these tiny motorhomes and I wonder why more aren’t made today.
