The Green Toyota Sunrader That Came to Visit
For the last week or so, we’ve had this green Toyota Sunrader parked on our street.
When the owner was outside, working on his engine, I wanted to stop by and have a talk with him about his great little motorhome, but Mike stopped me.
He reminded me how I felt when we were having trouble with our teardrop trailer in Arkansas and everyone wanted to talk to us about how cute it was. I was so bothered that day that I’ve never truly recovered from it. That guy working on the engine of his adorable green Toyota Sunrader might have felt the same, and I didn’t want to be the one to push him over the edge.
He had Washington plates, so he was far away from home.
Later, we saw the camper drive away, so we know he got his engine working, so we hope the rest of his stay here in Utah is enjoyable and we hope he gets home safe and sound. Of course, I’m hoping to see him outside again so we can have a tour of the inside as well as my obsessive photographs of the outside.
Yeah, Mike was probably right. I should leave him alone…
If you had offered him a cup of coffee he would have been your friend for life. Since after all he is from the land with a Starbucks on every corning, Washington state.
